Due to the different opportunities presented to Black and Latino players before integration, the Hall Rating of these players does not accurately reflect their Hall of Fame cases. When possible, the Hall of Stats uses Eric Chalek’s Negro League MLEs to present an alternate Hall Rating for prominent early Black and Latino stars. Louis Dula has a 15 Hall Rating using these MLEs. The rest of the stats on this page come from real game data, not MLEs.

|About the stats|
Over the course of his career, Louis Dula pitched 171 innings and made 110 plate appearances. Dula was worth 3.1 Wins Above Replacement (2.2 as a pitcher and 0.8 as a hitter) and 1.6 Wins Above Average (0.8 as a pitcher and 0.8 as a hitter).
After adjusting for length of schedule, catchers, and relief pitchers, the 3.1 WAR becomes 4.9 adjWAR. Then, WAA is adjusted by ignoring negative seasons (thus, truly capturing a player’s peak seasons) and making similar adjustments for catchers and relief pitchers. After these adjustments, the 1.6 WAA becomes 1.0 adjWAA.
Then, the adjWAR and adjWAA are combined, but with extra weighting given to adjWAA. This gives Dula 6.7 wWAR. wWAR is then converted to Hall Rating. A Hall Rating of 100 represents the Hall of Stats borderline (similar to OPS+ or wRC+, where 100 represents league average).
Louis Dula has a Hall Rating of 6, leaving him nowhere close to induction to the Hall of Stats.
